Terms of use and disclaimer

Last updated October 16, 2026

By using IsItOpen.ca you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Information only

IsItOpen.ca provides general information about holiday opening hours in Canada, based on the sources linked on each page. It is not legal, employment or business advice. For questions about your rights or obligations on a holiday, contact your provincial employment standards office or a lawyer.

No guarantee

We work hard to keep answers accurate and to link the source for each one, but stores, banks and services can change their hours at any time, and individual locations (including franchises, mall stores and stores in tourist areas) may not follow chain-wide hours. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Always confirm with the store or service before you go.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, IsItOpen.ca and its operator aren't liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from use of, or reliance on, information on this site, including a wasted trip to a closed store.

Not affiliated

IsItOpen.ca is independent. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any store, bank, government or organization listed. Store names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the store an answer refers to. Trademark owners who have concerns can contact us.

Links to other sites

We link to official store, government and news websites as sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or availability.

Using our content

You're welcome to link to any page. Please don't copy the site's content or data in bulk, or present it as your own, without permission.

Advertising

The site may display ads from third parties such as Google AdSense. Advertisers don't influence our answers. See the privacy policy for how advertising cookies work.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. Questions: info@isitopen.ca.
